Psychotherapy
At Calm Nexus, we take on a holistic approach and consider the research with each unique client. The relationship between client and clinician has a significant impact on psychotherapy effectiveness, which is why we offer a free 20-minute consultation before you book your first appointment.
Not all psychotherapy is created equally – there are over 400 psychotherapy treatments used worldwide. At Calm Nexus, we use evidence based practices to help you reach your goals. Some modalities that the therapists at Calm Nexus offer are: EMDR, Somatic therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, IFS, DBT, CBT, and more.
Individuals who wait less than three months from assessment to treatment are almost 5 times more likely to report that psychotherapy was beneficial when compared to those waiting twelve months or longer (Mind, 2010), this is why we strive to book your session in less than 10 days upon request.
